The Princess can win a double header in Paris! Go for it Babe! :sigh:

@  bruce : (26 May 2016 - 16:43)

Great going, Golden Gals! I'm hoping for a Slam title soon!

@  bruce : (26 May 2016 - 16:42)

Those who dislike Obama will be free of him soon enough. Then, the replacement, probably Hillary, will become the new object of mass criticism from the right. Trump would even get more of it, if not rioting in the streets.

@  hilarius : (26 May 2016 - 13:41)

Hingis/Paes def Groenefeld/Farah 64 64!!!

@  bobo : (26 May 2016 - 00:48)

What the heck does it take to impeach this Obama nut job?

@  bobo : (26 May 2016 - 00:47)

“Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

“So, if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, it’ll bankrupt them.”

@  bobo : (26 May 2016 - 00:39)

There is also a nationally famous environmentalist news magazine/paper called the High Country News. So we have big time lefties, miners, ranchers, hippies, trust funders, and we all live together pretty much in harmony. In 2008 Obama got 33% here. In 2012 he got 27%. Western Colorado is one of the most conservative places in the USA. And most of us have no use for most of what our federal government does. ^_^ :sigh:

@  bobo : (26 May 2016 - 00:28)

That said, there are 4 coal miles here. High quality "clean" coal. There is one left operating. They have been govt. regulated out of business. The coal industry here has always been a major part of the economy. The mine closings have had a disastrous impact on the local economy here.

@  bobo : (26 May 2016 - 00:20)

I live in a small town in western colorado that is famous for it's concentration of organic farms, free range animals including buffalo, llamas and yaks, in addition to cows. There is a goat farm here that produces high end cheeses and milk. And there are several boutique wineries. I have chickens that free range in my fenced organic orchard that produce fabulous eggs. Dark orange yolks that most people have never seen.

@  bobo : (26 May 2016 - 00:12)

Excellent post Piero! I'll bet there is a corresponding graph for government regulation graph.

@  Collective : (25 May 2016 - 22:15)

By rate I mean the rate at which that line is going down...

@  Collective : (25 May 2016 - 22:14)

Whenever someone tells you the nonsense that trade is to blame for manufacturing jobs disappearing from the US of A, just show this graph

https://research.stl...2/graph/?g=44qi

Basically same rate even since before China started its industrial reforms. NAFTA (1994) and China in WTO (2001) have extremely low impact...

Tough about Vika, but she just never seems to have it on clay. Just doesn't seem to be her surface at all.

@  bruce : (25 May 2016 - 16:27)

The Trump language of politics seems to be just say whatever you feel like at any time, and maybe some out there will approve. I agree, though, that the manufacturing base that has left will never come back. No reason to do so when the workers over there work for about a third or less than over here.

@  John Straiton : (24 May 2016 - 21:56)

Hi BOB, No it would be impossible for me to dumb myself down sufficiently to even consider running for any political office. Not that anyone would want me as I've never learned "New Speak" The twisted language of politics.

@  bobo : (24 May 2016 - 00:47)

Hey John. Have you ever considered running for office?! :D

@  John Straiton : (23 May 2016 - 19:12)

No,.. it was much better under JFK. like about 5.2 vs. 3.4 gdp!
And, even if he manages to keep his pants on, the work force of today is less able, with much more mfg. in East Asia! He's bringing that back home? Don't make me laugh! And, i don't think that Trump will do it either.

The first 1 is very old; that's like from 1998!
Tomorrow we'll take the dog for a walk
And in the afternoon then maybe we'll talk
I'll be exhausted so I'll probably sleep
And we'll get a Chinese and watch TV

Each Marti's pic is great, no matter where and when made ... these are very nice, too, 10x for sharing them :)
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing."

Awesome pics!!! Thanks.
"Time is NEVER wasted. It's ALWAYS spend. Living the life you were meant to lead. But ahead to that, the element of will and decide who YOU are meant to be.
This is now and now is the time. To remember where you've been. Forget what you might have missed and FOCUS on becoming a CHAMPION again.
Martina Hingis has the will and knows the way at Rolland Garros"
